You'll be based at Shieldaig Lodge on the southern shores of Gairloch in the far west of Scotland, an ideal location from which to explore. Best outdoor adventure experience from Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards.
You'll be given a full safety brief before heading out onto the water and then, once you're back on dry land, you can enjoy a hot drink or a meal in this fine Scottish Lodge on the seashore.
There are other activities available on site to fill your day while you're here; cycling, guided walks, the Shieldaig Falconry Centre and foraging along the seashore.

Cory has a varied background in outdoor leadership and training. As a boy he was always bird watching on his local patch or around the north east where he was brought up. Cory recently undertook the Wilderness Guide Training Programme to become a Wild Scotland Wilderness Guide. He is a qualified teacher, sea kayak leader, mountain leader and orienteering instructor

Enjoy a wonderful paddle round Gairloch bay, watch seals and learn about the marine environment - a wonderful, relaxed experience with experienced and knowledgable guides.
You will be welcomed by our guide into the reception area where the full experience will be explained to you. Following this your will be issued with a buoyancy aid, paddle and kayak and, after a few minutes to adjust your equipment, we head out onto the water.
You can choose a morning afternoon or evening paddling experience and the pace can be as slow or fast as you choose, there is plenty of wildlife to spot and islands to explore
