An immersion into nature is a breath of fresh air.
The new 'roadmap' opens up domestic tourism from April
From 12 April (data-permitting) UK 'staycations' away from home will be allowed by members of the same household and self-catered accommodation will be able to open. With this in mind, Natural Britain has put forward some short breaks to escape the city (or whatever it is that you've been locked down in over the winter!).
Natural Britain is the first of its kind to offer a reliable place for travellers to find ethically-run experiences and accommodation exclusively in the British Isles. This is a place where 'the ethical consumer' can browse and choose a holiday experience that is locally owned, sustainably run and has been selected by a team of industry experts. Natural Britain is the UK's first UK-wide travel company to introduce Carbon Labelling for every trip offered. The trips are outdoor orientated, locally operated and often human-powered with a low carbon footprint. The British Isles has so much to offer, and if you choose a UK trip, the impact on the environment will reduce dramatically.
These new 'escape the city' breaks explore areas of the UK often overlooked for tourism. They are sustainably run, with a low (and transparent) carbon impact; are full of outdoor activities for adults or families and offer a fun way to explore the outdoors and reconnect with nature in little-known corners of England away from the crowds. The trips stay in self-catering accommodation mixed with an abundance of fresh air and exercise and wide-open space.
Discover the South Downs in Hampshire and stay in a yurt on a farm

You’ll discover hidden corners of rural Hampshire on this short activity break, providing a wonderful contrast to lockdown life: country pubs, village walks in the South Downs National Park, mountain biking, bushcraft skills and the back lanes and sights of historic Winchester. You can either drive there or leave the car behind and join by train (transfer by electric car included).

'Champing', walking, kayaking, Medieval story-telling in NOrthants

Departures in May, June, July and beyond… 3 days from £349pp (£199pp per child) includes activities as described and a stay for two nights in a church!
We all need a break so make summer 2021 the year you discover what is closer to home, slow down your travel and reduce your carbon impact. A break with Natural Britain will ensure you ‘escape the everyday’ and have an adventure to look forward to.
