Based in a stunning forest location at Bwlch Hafod Einion near Cerrigydrudion, Conwy. Approximately 30 minutes drive from the tourist area of Betws-y-Coed and the popular seaside towns of Colwyn Bay and Rhyl. The sled-dog site is surrounded by open moorland, vast forests, lakes and on a clear day the Snowdon Range makes an appearance.
There are different ways you can interact with the dogs:
Meet the team. Interact with the working sled dogs in the forest, learn about each breed and how they work in sled dog sports.
Mini Mushers. Aimed at 7 to 14 year olds. A great opportunity for children to meet the sled dogs, learn to ride a racing rig and drive their own small team of huskies.

This unique operator is part of the Conwy Green Growth Scheme, which encourages and supports business to operate as sustainably and eco-friendly as possible. They have received support from The Woodlands Trust to plant 400 trees on their land, and grown a variety of wild flowers.

For almost 20 years, Joe and Mark have been training and racing sleddogs in the UK and abroad. They have won top places in British racing, qualified and raced at International level and represented Team GB.

An amazing once in a lifetime adventure.
Take a husky ride on a passenger cart, pulled by a 6-dog team of racing dogs through the beautiful undulating South Alwen Forest trails, surrounded by picturesque open moorland, rolling Welsh hills and the Snowdon range in the distance.
Feel the adrenaline and energy as the dogs get ready to run and power into their harnesses as they take off. Pulling the sled through winding, frost bitten undulating trails, surrounded by vast forest and as the cool mist breaks and the sun shines through, snow-capped mountains can be seen in the distance.
Afterwards, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and stories of sled-dog sports and racing through history
