Surf, Coasteer & Wild Camp

  • Two-day adventure weekend on Cornwall's dramatic Atlantic coast

  • Learn to surf at one of many well known surf spots in Newquay

  • Take on deepwater cliff jumps whilst coasteering on a picturesque headland close to basecamp

  • Sleep under the stars in luxury bell tents and cook on a campfire

  • The weekend consists of two surf lessons, a coasteering session and an overnight camp at a private wild campsite.

Itinerary

Day 1. Coasteering and Surfing


The weekend starts at 9am with a warm welcome from your hosts. The day starts on Fistral Beach for a surf lesson, starting on the beach you will learn how to manage the board safely, prone surfing and catching waves on your stomach from waist depth, back to the sand. Then hit the waves with the instructor on hand to practice your new skills. Then its back to the beach to learn to stand! There will be time for lunch from one of Newquay's many independent eateries before heading to the coasteering location to get kitted up. On this coasteering adventure you will experience several elements such as wild swimming, low-level traversing, and everyone’s favourite, deep water cliff jumps. Then head back to base camp for BBQ, campfire, tosting marshmallows and sleeping under the stars in bell tents. Depending on weather and conditions these activies may be done in reverse. Please note: No meals are included and you will have an opportunity to purchase BBQ food during the day.




Day 2. Surf Lesson


The day starts with breakfast at base camp before heading back to the beach for the second surf lesson. oday is all about having fun in the surf! After a general overview of surf conditions and a recap of yesterday's skills it’s straight into the ocean to get the most of your time in the sea – your coaches will as always on hand giving personal feedback and goals to aim for in your surfing. The day finishes at 1pm.

  • Two-day unique surf and yoga retreat in Cornwall packed with energising surf and restorative woodland yoga.

  • Whether it’s your first time in the surf or you’re looking to improve, the aim for the weekend is to simply have fun

  • Pre and post surfing woodland yoga sessions are an ideal setting to unwind and re-energise whilst surrounded in nature.

  • Sleep under the stars in luxury bell tents and cook on a campfire

  • The weekend consists of two surf lessons, two yoga sessions and an overnight camp at a private wild campsite.

Itinerary

Day 1. Wild Swim, Surf and Yoga


Meet your group and host at 08:00 and head straight to the wild swimming location. The north Cornwall coast has many hidden coves and bays so conditions will dictate where this activity takes place. You wil be accompanied by a professional swimming guide. Lunch can be purchased from one of the many independent eateries in Newquay. In the afternoon you will have an introductory surf lesson and take to the waves of Fistral Bay. Finally, head to the wild campsite for a woodland yoga session, evening BBQ and campfire. Sleep under the stars in a bell tent. Please note: no meals are inlcuded and you will be given the opportunity to purchase BBQ food during the day.




Day 2. Wild swim


Enjoy a light breakfast at camp before an invigorating morning yoga session. Today's wild swim is to build on the previous days introduction. With a new location the aim is cover a small distance and put into practise some of the techniques taught the day before.
